Privacy Policy for the Pora app

Pora for Android, package com.malkvlab.pora.
Version dated 25 August 2026.

In short: the text of your reminders and notes stays on your device. What goes out is anonymous information about how reminders work - whether notifications arrive, how you close them and which topic a reminder belongs to - plus feedback, if you write and send it yourself.

Who processes the data

Kirill Maluzenko, sole proprietor (individual entrepreneur registered in Russia), OGRNIP 325784700278800, INN 781142818837.
Contact for any data-related question: malkv.work@gmail.com.

What stays on your device only

The following is stored in your phone's memory. It is not sent to us or anyone else, is not synchronised and is not backed up to our servers (the app has no servers):

All of it is deleted together with the app, or via Settings → Apps → Pora → Storage → Clear data.

What is sent out: anonymous analytics

The app uses the Yandex AppMetrica analytics service. It lets us see whether the core idea works: do notifications arrive, and are they closed with an action. What is sent:

What is not sent to analytics: reminder texts and note texts. This is enforced by how the app is built, not by a promise: the check that records an event rejects the whole event if your text ends up in it. The check has exactly one named exception - the text of your feedback, which you wrote in the form and sent yourself. There are no other exceptions, and none can be added without changing this page.

What the app never collects at all: name, email, phone number, payment details, contacts, messages, photos or files, location (the location module is not included in the build), advertising identifiers (the advertising module is not included in the build). The app has no sign-up and no accounts.

What you get from it

DataWhat you get
Interaction events, installation codeUndelivered notifications show up in the data, so we fix them without waiting for you to write in. Otherwise a problem specific to your phone model would go unnoticed
Device and app identifiersYour records stay separate from everyone else's - which is what makes it possible to find and delete yours by your installation code
Reminder topic (from version 0.1.5)Templates and suggestions grow around what people actually use the app for, instead of what we imagine they use it for
Crash reportsA failure that could stop a reminder from arriving gets fixed sooner
Rating and feedback text (from version 0.1.5)Whatever got in your way reaches the developer directly - and gets an answer

The data is not used for advertising, profiling or automated decision-making about you, and is not sold. The app contains no ads.

Who receives the data

The only recipient is Yandex LLC as the provider of the AppMetrica analytics service, processing the data on our behalf. Service terms: yandex.com/legal/metrica_termsofuse; Yandex privacy policy: yandex.com/legal/confidential. The data is not shared with anyone else. Transmission is encrypted (HTTPS).

How long data is kept

Your rights and how to use them

App permissions

InternetTo send anonymous analytics. The reminders themselves work fully offline

Children

The app is not intended for or directed at children. We do not knowingly collect children's data.

Changes to this policy

The current version always lives at this address; the version date is shown at the top. If the set of collected data changes, we will update both this page and the Data safety form in Google Play.
